FilmHarmonic 2022
For the opening sequence of 2022's FilmHarmonic, I modeled, animated, and lit a FilmHarmonic Parody of the 20th Century Fox Logo. The modeling, animating, and lighting was done in AutoDesk Maya, while additionaly lighting effects were achieved in AfterEffects. Special thanks to my friend Luna Ellerton for acting as my After Effects Consultant and getting me across the finish line when I had some issues with tracking AE lights.
For the closing credits, I was tasked with a Star Wars Title Crawl. I made a star background in AutoDesk Maya using a bunch of balls with the emission maxed out. Then the actual title sequence was animated in AfterEffects. I used Star Jedi Font by David Canavero Boba Fonts. However, I did have to customize it a bit for that first FilmHarmonic Title drop.
On behalf of the Creative Arts Research Institute, I interviewed the FilmHarmonic's Conductor Peter Morris on the process from a Screen Research Perspective.
